Our stylists work directly with clients, helping them choose outfits that make them feel confident, empowered, and ready to take the next step toward employment.
A great outfit can change how someone feels about themselves — but the real magic happens through the encouragement, care, and support you offer during the styling session.
If you enjoy connecting with people and helping them look and feel their best, this role may be perfect for you.
What does a Stylist do?
As a volunteer stylist, you will:
Welcome clients into our boutique and help them feel comfortable
Talk with them about their upcoming interview, job, or event
Help select clothing, shoes, and accessories that suit their body shape, personal style, and work requirements
Offer gentle guidance and encouragement throughout the appointment
Provide a warm, positive experience that builds confidence
Work with other volunteers to maintain the boutique space
No formal fashion training is required — just a good eye, a caring approach, and a desire to help others feel amazing.

Enjoys working with people from all walks of life
Is warm, supportive, and a good listener
Has an interest in clothing, presentation, or personal style
Is comfortable offering gentle guidance
Can commit to a regular shift (we can work out what suits you)
Wants to be part of a positive, welcoming volunteer team
Time Commitment
Stylist volunteers usually support us during scheduled appointment times.
Shifts can be flexible depending on your availability — even a couple of hours each week can make a big difference.
