Shop Volunteer Roles

Our boutique shop plays a vital role in funding the free styling and support services we provide to women in our community. Every sale helps us empower more clients on their journey to employment — and our Shop Volunteers make this possible.

If you enjoy helping customers, love being part of a friendly team, and want to contribute to a positive cause, this role could be a wonderful fit.

What Does a Shop Volunteer Do?

Shop Volunteers help run our boutique during 2.5‑hour shifts by:

  • Greeting and assisting customers warmly

  • Helping shoppers find clothing, accessories, and treasures they’ll love

  • Displaying and arranging stock on the floor

  • Keeping the shop tidy, welcoming, and organised

  • Promoting our mission to new visitors

  • Supporting the fundraising efforts that make our styling service possible

You don’t need retail experience — just a friendly attitude and willingness to learn.

Why This Role Matters

Every item sold in our boutique directly supports our core programme:
free styling, clothing, and confidence‑building for women preparing for work.

Shop Volunteers help generate the funds we rely on to:

  • purchase essential items we may not have donated

  • keep our boutique operating smoothly

  • support more clients every year

Your warm smile and helpful presence make a real difference — to both customers and clients.

  • Can commit to a regular 2.5‑hour shift (weekly or fortnightly)
